Everything you ever wanted to know about your vagina on Better Sex Radio

Lissa-Rankin-Author

What is up “down there?”  Holy moly, the vulva and vagina are so complicated, mysterious yet simple and beautiful all wrapped up in one. (I love her title. It has personal meaning for me. I got inspired to get into the Pleasure Party and Sex Toy business when I attended a pleasure party where the Romance Consultant could not say penis or vagina. As she tried to sell her sex toys and other accoutrement – she referred to our nether regions as “down there.”)

My friend and inspiration Dr. Lissa Rankin has written a new book that will answer everything you ever wanted to know about your vulva and vagina…and possibly some things you NEVER wanted to know about it. The title is “What’s Up Down There?”  Who better to write a book then an actual Gynecologist. And she is a Bay Area gynecologist, to boot!

I personally can’t wait to get my hands on Dr. Rankin’s new book “What’s Up Down There? Questions you’d only ask your female gynecologist if she was your best friend.”  You can buy your own copy of Dr. Rankin’s book here.

Dr. Lissa Rankin and I met the first time about three years ago at a Ladies Who Launch event in San Francisco.  I was immediately struck my her passion. Dr. Rankin’s passion is much like mine – she wants to help women get their MOJO back! I LOVE that, because that is what I am also trying to do.  Help women find their mojo! We are just going about it in two completely different ways. I immediately joined her online community “Owning Pink.”  And have subscribed to her blog, newsletter and her Owning Pink Facebook Fan Page. Can you tell I adore Lissa and her mission?

That is why I am so excited for Dr. Rankin and her new book and can’t wait to interview her on Oct. 20th on “Better Sex Radio.” Tune in at 11 a.m. as we stream live on Oct.20th.

Dr. Lissa breaks it all down for us. She covers the dreaded yeast infection. Talk about misery. And on top of being miserable, when you have a yeast infection you are out of commission for about a week or 10 days. Uggg. Never fun! And, Lissa covers our cycle and what is normal and what is not. Pelvic exams, female ejaculation, the female orgasm, lubrication, vaginal discharge, vaginal odor, the way our vagina tastes and what foods we can eat for a “better” tasting and smelling vagina, and so much more.

I love the subtitle of Lissa’s book. She has done us all a HUGE favor and she did sit down and write this book just as if she was your best friend, your gynecologist and you were having some wine in your living room and just asking every question you ever wanted to know about your own “passion flower.”  (That is the word one of Lissa’s patients used to refer to her own vulva.)

I hope you will buy her book and get all of your questions answered! I can’t wait to get my own copy. I am sure we can all learn a thing or two from Lissa’s real life research, her holistic approach to life and love and her no nonsense style. She is adorable and funny and I am sure her book will be exactly the same. Buy What’s Up Down There on Lissa’s site and there are some excerpts from her book here, too.

Have any questions for when Lissa is on our show? Please email them to me privately at blissconnection@gmail.com or join our Facebook community at www.Facebook.com/BlissConnection and you can submit your questions there, too.
