Shave Cream

Shave Cream

It’s summer and now it’s time to shave off that winter coat, ladies.  For our male Bliss friends, time for some manscaping!  Here are some tips we have learned from talking to the EXPERTS who design and manufacture the hair removal products that are designed for shaving sensitive areas like the bikini area for women.

Tip 1: Ladies, do not ever use the razor you use on your legs on your bikini area. Your leg hair is super coarse and it really dulls a razor super quick. I keep a PINK razor in my shower for sensitive areas and use any other razor I have around on my legs. The pink razor has the cover on it in between uses and stays up on the shelf for special occasions.  This tip is #1 because it’s the most important! Also, if you share a bathroom with a man, do not use the razor they use on their face on your bikini area as their beard hair is also very coarse and can dull out a razor quickly. Same goes with your leg hair. Use a separate razor for your legs and his face.

Tip 2:  Make sure all of the hair that you intend to shave is sufficiently wet and softened from the warm water and maybe some soap or conditioner –  before you start shaving. The warm water on your skin and hair will make it all shave off much more cleanly.  Give it all a few minutes to penetrate the hair follicles and soften before you start shaving anything.

Tip 3: Try some COOCHY shave cream. This stuff is MAGICAL and I am not a chemist, so I am not sure what the magic ingredient is but IT WORKS! Coochy Shave Cream is unisex and lots of men LOVE COOCHY on their face. It’s a RASH FREE SHAVE cream that goes on alot like a hair conditioner or cream rinse. You slather it on your bikini area, your under arms, your legs, your face (for the guys) or the twigs and berries, too.

Let the COOCHY shave cream set for about 45 seconds to really let it soften their hair cuticle and then use your PINK razor on your bikini area. You can even apply a little bit more COOCHY shave cream to the pubic area after you shave off the hair to sort of sooth the follicles. (Also a great cream to use around week 3 or 4 for those of you who wax it all off to help the hair grow back with no bumps.)

I personally feel that the COOCHY shave cream is a bit too expensive to use on your legs, but it does work VERY WELL to soften the skin on your legs and to soften the leg hair when it does grow back. But, most women do not get razor burn or a rash on their legs from shaving.  The bumps usually plague us on our underarms and our bikini area.

This cream is GUARANTEED by BlissConnection. If you use it, shave with it and still get a RASH, RAZOR BURN or BUMPS, you can return it to Bliss for a full refund. No questions asked. We get such positive feedback from our customers about this product and have only had 3 women return it in 7 years and thousands of bottles later. (Also, this is a fab cream to use in between waxes… around day 14 when the hair and bumps start to come in, slather some “coochy” on your, well, COOCHY and it will help the new hair grow back with less bumps and itchiness.)

Very timely! I just switched from waxing to shaving to try to save some money, but was beginning to regret my decision. Yet I wasn’t sure who to ask for tips on better bikini shaving. Thanks!

I find the best value on Coochy is to buy the HUGE 16 oz. bottle of it. Even when I’m using it on my legs, underarms and bikini area it lasts for MONTHS. 🙂 And you’re right, it IS truly magical!!
